As parents, we are constantly taking photos of our little loves, but how often are we actually in the photos? Anyway, the point is that when our kids look back at old photos, they are going to want to see photos of us all together. Photos that show how much we love them, and how much they mean to us. Photos that show us laughing together and giving each other hugs and kisses, formal and informal but all high quality! Each investment comes with some sort of print package. That way you know you are going to have at least some hardware to frame and look at time and time again.
Family Lifestyle Sessions
(Family, Maternity, Couple, Children)
Outdoor Lifestyle sessions are usually planned around sunset and designed to capture natural, authentic moments between loved ones. We often do something of your choice (fishing, dancing, tickling) to create lasting memories. Your session can take place at a variety of hand-picked, private settings or a location of your choice.
In-home lifestyle sessions are all about your family and how you interact with each other in your home! Family, children, couples, and maternity sessions will be based on what you enjoy doing together at home (maybe it’s baking cookies, playing games, jumping on the bed, wrestling in the living room, reading by the fire or building a fort).
With all sessions, I’m happy to provide you with complimentary styling advice! I can create vision boards based on your style and give suggestions on where to shop, etc.
$100 retainer is due at booking to secure your date and goes toward your session fee.

Newborn Sessions
Newborn lifestyle sessions are a relaxed way to capture your family with your new baby in the place that you feel most comfortable… your home. I can photograph baby in the nursery you worked so hard on, your older kids loving on their new sibling, your dog cuddling up to the family while you all snuggle on the couch, and all the other special moments that go along with bringing a new baby home. These aren’t posed sessions, but I do give relaxed direction so I can capture your family interacting in an authentic way. Since these are lifestyle, they really can be booked anytime, but generally 1-4 weeks after birth.
Studio newborn sessions are also a relaxed way to capture your new little bundle of joy. Also in your home, but with the props, backdrops, swaddles and more to make this feel like the perfect studio session. Sleeping or wakeful baby will be given plenty of time to eat and cuddle while I change the settings. I use a large room with as many windows as possible. I also bring studio lighting and a space heater.

Sometimes children become fussy or just simply can't last any longer during the session. Birth Photography
Supporting and documenting families and babies in their earthside transition is an incredibly honoring experience. Each birth story is so different, the images captured take us back to that moment no matter how many births we've witnessed. I do this work to empower families and women, to support their decisions and capture their birth journey as it unfolds for timeless memories.
